When they get a bit of age to them they think to carry out a sniff test before entering their nozzle, if in doubt, leave it till the next morning.It was a machine I wasn't all that familiar with at the time and the hydraulic oil tank on that model fastrac was in the exact same place as you would expect the diesel tank to be, only on the other side of the machine. If I remember rightly the lid was quite large as well so quite similar to a diesel tank lid too. Fudging good job it wasn't late and dark as I would probably have not noticed the tank already being so full. My own fault for trying to be helpful by filling up someone else's machine at the end of the day before going home.
