If I search will I find another post by you, possibly in another year, when you wish they’d just get on with it?

Tell me about it ??‍♂️ had about 50 cases in total but went as fast as it came really once I got a handle on it... have 2 lame sheep in the whole flock now so hopefully that’s the end of it ... least I don’t have scab I guess [emoji23]

And did they...? :nailbiting:

Haha only 3 couples so nothing major, 2 sensibly under a hedge. Stupid shearling had her couple in the corner open to catching all the wind though. That was just before the main squall line came through so brought them in as the one was a tiny lamb but both lively this morning. They can go out the orchard for a few days after the wind drops then back out

It’s amazing where a young lamb will find a bit of shelter, they don’t need much of an obstacle to get behind out of the wind, a good mole hill in the right place is all they need sometimes! Glad mine were in last night absolutely lashed it down here, only had one yearling lamb outside this morning, moved things round so can get the last eighty in tomorrow then they’re all under cover! The end is in sight?

Taps started to drip again, had these four an hour ago, can’t really see on the pic I suppose but real good quad, be two nice doubles on other ewes, suffolk mule ewe to Charolais ram! Got about ten ewes lambed with 250 in the shed, got a thousand due in the next five weeks so gonna be all systems go in about ten days I reckon, at least I’ve gained a bit of extra help now the schools are shut, four children an the level of enthusiasm is let’s say variable to waning as the age of the child increases 🙈
