Magnum310 transmission breather

Hi,

Looking for the transmission breather on the magnum, its on the speed housing somewhere but i cant see it. Can anyone point me in the right direction to look as it may be covered in dust etc.

Did here of one that had some sort of extension added to bring the breather to a more convenient spot.

Anyone's seen the whereabouts of the breather. Think the rear wheel has to come off to get to it.

Found it in the end. Workers in the case factory would have been smiling as they covered it with hydraulic pipes and then put the cab down on it all.

I don't think it's possible to forget that tractor!
Can't remember the sizes anymore, but I got a fitting screwed in place of the breather and piped it to the back of the toolbox, far easier to change.
Was a complete waste of time for actual issue at the time!

Constantly getting condensation in the transmission oil. The gasket behind the top link bracket are known to perish, from lifting heavy implements, and let rain or water in when washing. I think he found this was the issue.

Yes i have done ours too as it leaked oil.
