Sorry for such a basic question, but how do you change the tines on a Mailloux muck fork ?

Pull the bar at the back out, pull the times out.

Unfortunately it’s not usually that straight forward, the back bar gets bent and the tines rust in.

Grease replacement tinesto prevent rust and use individual bolts to secure them rather than the long bar

They look the same as chiltern tines ?
A right pita, straight tines in straight tine holders, they rust solid together and you can't get heat to where it needs to be the most as it's inside the box section tine holder. Ended up cutting the box section off the bottom of my grab and made a new one using heavy angle iron and a length of hydraulic ram tube, oh and ground the tines down so that they were loose in the tine holders.no way they will rust solid this time

Grease is your friend. I take my tines out every 6 months-ish, the fork will be 21 yr old next spring. tines come out easily. everything needs a service, even a muck fork.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
