Mains electric fence splitting

Whats the best way to split the lead-out on a mains energizer? I need to feed multiple paddocks which aren't adjacent to each other with separate cable to each. I can split out within the building and then run cable to the relevant fields. I'm no bothered about remote control etc just an alternative to carting batteries about and going flat and so on.

I have that problem and lead out through a top wire (obviously insulated) on the fence. I take leads off that to supply individual fields as neccessary. I have switches on the field fences so I can electrify all or just the top wire on each paddock. You need to work out on a plan to keep your runs as short as possible. It is similar to taking a water to several troughs.

I want to spur off at source (inside) - so multiple cables out of some kind of distribution box. Could switch on/off at distribution point and/or fields as well to save walking back if a problem. I'm looking to feed around 4 fields per box.

I'm just wondering if it will cause a problems with multiple feeds off in parallel pulling different amount of power, rather than linking fields in series which will be more difficult due to roads etc

I can't see a problem, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. Sounds as if you are planning to have a similar set up to the mains wiring within your own house but on a larger scale. The main feed into your house will be split up at the fuse box. The voltage at each power socket and lamp fitting will be the same, but the amperage will depends on what the appliance draws. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon to explain the theory.

That's the plan. Just not sure it will work properly.
