Has anyone made a mounted feet spreader trailed by building some sort of trolley?

Getting really fed up squeezing in to hitch up our amazone.

old massey drill hubs and the big diameter wheels would give the ground clearance.

build design closest to tractor as possible (short wheelbase)....unless you make or buy a tracking drawbar

Some of the A frame suppliers are incorporating PTO, might be worth a look?
Not sure how easy it would be to copy though.

Looked at doing it, but after abit of looking round found a dolly with a spinner on for £700

Intended to swap our spinner on to it and resell the spinner on it, but the spinner on it is in reasonable condition and parts still available.
We put some wider wheels on it too.

As for use, bro really rates it! Can load more fert up & much more stable

I found it a lot easier to hitch up out amazone spreader with the Hydraulic top link. Leaves a big gap when fully extended. Makes levelling the spreader easy as well

They used to be commonplace when 3pt hitches were less powerful 20 odd yr ago,..
seen many go to scrap.
the econ trailed spreader of 30 yr ago was a joy to hitch up.

If interested I can sell you this. We used to mount our spreader on it but I don’t bother now as we have bigger tractors. It is a fair age but the last year I used it we beefed it up, and got it sandblasted and painted. £200 cash to a fellow tff’er.
