Manitou 634 gearbox oil pressure

Hi just wondering if anyone has any information about the oil pressure on a manitou 634 2008 oil pressure is blowing out of the gearbox. Anyone shed any light on this please. Any help mucho appreciated

Hello

Where is it blowing out oil?

Common is the oil pressure switch, just replace it there around £70 plus vat i think.

Out of the bell housing? that will be torque converter seal leaking and or the 90 deg gearbox. Much bigger job.

Propshaft seals? easy cheap job

Transmission cooler pipe, easy enough

Blowing out the breather on top? Use ATF dexron 3 oil. do the final level check by running engine for a few minutes, stop and check oil straight away, dont check this one with engine running it will be over filled and spit it out the breather especially when doing high speed reversing! or when really hot weather often.

Main pump pressure is 16bar
clutch packs are 15bar

Anything else you want to know? :)

The machine is getting delivered today as I only bought it yesterday and found out then after.

Hi again I just filled it up with ATF 3 and started it to see where the oil leak was coming from and it squirted out of that little hole next to the dip stick..there was nothing there in the first place, just the dip stick and that hole, I have tried to put a bolt in the hole but its either been stripped or something else may be missing, any more help greatly appreciated. What goes there please

Hi again I just filled it up with ATF 3 and started it to see where the oil leak was coming from and it squirted out of that little hole next to the dip stick..there was nothing there in the first place, just the dip stick and that hole, I have tried to put a bolt in the hole but its either been stripped or something else may be missing, any more help greatly appreciated. What goes there please

that either had a ball bearing blank rammed in there cause its a factory drilling for something or some idiot drilled a hole in it. cant say i ever noticed a hole there or a bolt or anything!

bit of research suggests some arse hole put a drill through that for some reason! put a thread in it and seal it off with a bolt and copper washer.

Thanks for that it looked that clean I thought something had been there and removed and feels like thread in it but mustn't be. Yes I will try and blank it and let you know if that's the problem thanks again for your help.

That's the light what's staying on..no cogs maybe a hydraulic oil light but all hydraulics work
