Hi all, having trouble with an mlt 627 2012, mainly when the machine gets warmed up the brakes bind on, they bind on more when turning,
We've stripped the front axle down and can't see anything major wrong, the discs are in good order and the handbrake levers are free.

We are hoping it's just been the piston seals that may have swelled up, can anyone confirm this before we rebuild or suggest any possible causes? Many thanks!

It was just the oil your using.

I only use Genuine manitou axle oil or Fuchs super titan limited slip diff oil.

For the odd machine that persists with noise for no reason what so ever manitou do a 1 litre can of additive part number 546034 for about £16, you mix it one litre additive to a 20 litre can axle oil so its doesnt add alot to an oil change and will stop the odd few that are persistantly noisy for no real reason.

Make sure your handbrake levers are free in the top of the axle casting and not siezed up.
Also make sure you fit the newer type brake piston seals as they are better although wont cause your noise problem.
