Situation Vacant March 2021 Lambing

Lambing starts 20-03-2020 for 3-4 weeks with 400 ewes indoors.


We require an experienced and capable Lamber to take charge of all aspects of lambing our Commercial flock for 3-4 weeks commencing 20th March 2020.

You will be a proven Shepherd, and have several years established lambing experience.

You will be highly capable of all aspects, including wet adoption, re-mothering, as well as successful difficult births.

Working on your own initiative with a can-do attitude, along-side a lesser experienced student, you will handle pre- and post-birth requirements and palliative care of our ewes, as well as demonstrating leadership & mentoring of your assistant.

We lamb indoors, with the sheep moving outdoors soon after lambing.

You will need to have proven on-the-job capability, approachability, a great sense of humour, positive attitude and excellent organisational skills.

We also require a capable Student to work along side for the same period.
