Hi all,

Fitting a new radio in my 4355, struggling with getting a clean power source, the power that is there is low, but was normal before I changed the iso blocks, rewired twice and still the same.

Any ideas , tia

Yes had 2 powers one earth, all checked out with good power.
Think I have blown a fuse. Worklights and fan no longer work and 0.4v on tester for radio wires.
The problem now is I can't find the blown fuse.
Been through all the ones in the cab under the steering wheel and seem fine.
Is there another fuse box or some inline fuses that I am missing somewhere?

No idea on a 43 style sorry but sounds like a cab relay is not getting power now but one of the feeds should still have power

Massey battery earth straps were very poor quality at one point and need a good clean both on the chassis and both terminals as my old 399 was a devil for it and would either not start or was very slow to start.
The cab fan speed controller has a small resistor or similar that controls the speed and those are prone to failure on masseys but easy access via sunroof and lifting the front roof lid so simple job.

I have fitted radios where they have standard ISO plugs fitted to the vehicle wiring that plug into standard radios fine, but the constant power and switched power have been reversed and need changing around. Doesn’t sound like your issue but worth a check.

Have changed the iso plug to a new one that came with the radio
