Ha ha the memories of that baler will be with me till the day I die, i saw the light after 13 years of persevering with that baler and bought a New Holland different machine altogether.

No wouldn't dream of trying it in silage! Get neighbour's to do that With a welger(y) we do bale some hay with it can be temperamental! Works fine in straw though. As longs the claas works the farmhand will be redundant:D

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
