Massey 565

Hi all, I have a mate who has just bought a 565 which is all good except for the high/low won’t engage. It appears to be stuck in low and although the lever does move it won’t change to high.
The chap he bought it from said he “changed the oils and filters and the high/low hasn’t worked since”.
I haven’t seen it yet but, can anyone give me any pointers or guidance on trying to sort this out for him please?

If it isn’t something simple like the lever linkage had come adrift then its Probably seals gone in the multi power internal hydraulic clutch piston or maybe auxiliary pump failing or some other internal leak. Maybe changing the oil resulted in it being less gunky and more leaky. Might be a blocked filter somewhere. There is one near the oil cooler near the radiator. Can’t remember if it effects the auxiliary hydraulic circuit but wouldn’t hurt to change it. Usually there is a red warning light on the dash along the top row of warning lights that has a gear wheel symbol on it for low auxiliary hydraulic pressure. Often comes on at low revs and goes out when you rev it up if the system pressure is deteriorating.
