Evening

we recently have started having a few problems with our Massey 6140 It all started the other day with it running out of diesel on the side of a hill, basically the tractor spent 3 days stuck leaning over to one side due to where it stopped and us having problems getting it to start anyway, long story short we’ve managed to start it and get it moving but now when it was raking this evening we’ve lost all the hydrolics the pto isn’t working and the low pressure warning light has started coming on. We’ve shut the tractor off and left it in the field. Anyone have any ideas what could be the problem be? We where thinking of bleeding the system?

The pump did make a awful noise everytime we started it or used it last week and the weeks before. Could this be signs of a hydrolics pump failing? We have spoke to a few people and we’ve be told everything from the oils to thin to when they fitted the pump in the factory they didn’t fit the pump properly.
Cheers

We’ve had a look at the filters and they where all good. Spoke to a ex Massey dealer fitter and he said it could be the pressure sensor, bit of fiddling about and everything works so off to the dealers to get a new one. Cheers for the reply’s.
