Managed to wrap hay tight around the propshaft when I cut it off found this bracket obviously pulled off, guessing it has come off these 2pipes but what purpose do they serve

Does it hold the 4wd shaft guard on.

the two pipes are to the steering ram the solid pipe just holds them in place if you had the guard fitted

Yes and if I had the guard fitted it wouldn’t have wrapped around the prop shaft
