Massey 6465 T3 oil filter light on

Tier 3 massey 6465, oils and filters changed 100 hours ago with all genuine agco items.

Oil filter light has just came on, its on hot and cold, tractor has low hours and brakes arent an issue.

I have replaced sensor "19" shown on the parts diagram. Still no better, any suggestions please?

when my tier 2 6465 did that it was brakes beginning to fail,

cut old filter up and see whats inside the web, if its clean you should be fine.

brakes can fail at 1000 hours of use of there is a problem, so i would not rely on them not being an issue,

i would swap the filter and check the old one before you buy a sensor personally.

Take the suction filter off & look in it I bet it is full of metal from the brakes

that’s where mine was, mine were just starting so no metal just bits of disk.

I forgot it was suction filter I took out and cut open

Funny this has just happened to the neighbours tractor,(5khrs)hydraulics wouldnt lift, a pressure test has suggested the pump but I suggested he should have a look at the brakes (whilst he was in there) as the bloke who used to drive it was always in a rush likewise his worker!!!!!!!!!!

Tow a 20 ton digger behind it for 10 mins with no trailer brakes & it will soon F your tractor brakes, 4000 hours is good for 50kph Mf tractor

Found it to be a faulty sensor near the screw on filter, all lights out now.
