Massey Air Brake kit

I've just been quoted for an air brake kit for our massey 7495, by a company called Tractair, just wondering if any one else had used them, and the quality of the parts etc.

Tractair are normally good. Think @Speedstar may have fitted some to MFs

Is that for a T2 or t3 I was quoted £2400 a kit from jh milnes To fit T2 7490

Ours is a T2, the quote from tractair was very similar.

Had one of their kits on a 6470, the bolts holding the compessor on kept shearing causing the fan belt to throw itself off, and the handbrake relay would cause the trailer brakes to jam on fully at speed on the road with no warning

They said it was not possible for that to happen, even after I managed to get a video of it happening while driving round the yard.

Ended up disconnecting the system that put the trailer brakes on with the handbrake.

Then got rid of the tractor.

Wouldn't have another of their kits.
