What are your thoughts on the MF 590 4WD? What is the top speed of one with Multipower?

Has it got the early pressed steel axle or the later cast one. If the earlier one it will only be 3wd
Iirc there was only a normal diff with no way of locking it. Later types had an auto loc diffYou can't just leave it at that, which wheel doesn't drive and why?

You could well be rightfrom memory no 590s had a locking front diff,neither did the early 600 series,only the later short wheel base ones had the auto lock diff, the old A reg onwards
I've seen more than a few with 'theoretical' door hinges. Yikes!They don't know what to ask for them?
And if "the door" has genuine hinges, the sky's the limit .........
thats why i said get a late made one as it will have the 12 speed syncro gearbox (three gearsticks)Double check the PTO / multi and hydraulics work as they should.
Even stick a gauge on the test points.
You don't want to be going in the back as its a wheel out from under the cab job.
No engine braking in the high multi, so no young operators
