Anyone in the Massey Ferguson fold have any idea if or when mf plan to put a new cab on the 7000 and smaller range . Like the tractors just refuse to have the cab I had in 1995

I'll chuck the spanner in the works
even tho the current 7700 series Cabs roots date back to the mid Nineties
It doesnt bother me really, the 6 post cab has not stopped me doing any job i use my diff models for.
I actually like the size of the Cab door & wouldnt like it any bigger nor any smaller neither.
The only thing they should have had was the Data4 now 5 screen not mounted at eye level infront of that otherside door
where it was in Data3 days was perfect why change it?

Yep, this should be the new cab. The new model should be based on the NEXT like above. But with other tyres, interior, ...

personally think some of you need to spend a couple of weeks in an old db 990 with a lambourn cab in the winter! you ll soon find a five or even six pillar cab is the dogs wotsits. I know where i d rather be. been there etc. heater, cooler, radio, electric wiper not manual, decent seat, what more do you want?
Justifying poor design by comparing it to years past gets you bankrupt nowadays. Past is past and the manufacturing processes (along with everything else) have evolved significantly from thise times.

I dont disagree but there comes a point where a Wheel is a wheel its nothing more nor nothing less
Yet were just expected to think all replacment TRACTORS in this case are way superior than the ones before them
This is often not always the case.
Dyna-7 Masseys & Valtras to be made on same line in Massey factory & AGCO is buying up the other 50% of GIMA from Claas
