Does anybody know what pressure is supposed to be in the front suspension accumulator? Will be the same on a nh 6070 etc i presume, have seen a few posts on here regarding the same sort of thing but havnt come across the pressure, found a place that will test/ refill or replace.its a 2010 maxxum 140, all calibrated up correctly, have only really seen it working myself when the plough is on, wondered if anybody had tried a different pressure and found it to work better without putting a second accumulator on. any help appreciated cheers[emoji106]

Anything from 25 to 35 bar. They work better with weight on the front and doubling up on the accumalators

Is the pressure not stamped on the accumulator?

Thanks, i thought it would be around that, a mate of mine has the service manual and cant find anything other than the low pressure sensor is set at 22 bar to lock it off and the high presure sensor was at 210 bar nothing about the accumulator [emoji85]

If you carry weight on thr front alot go for a higher pressure, if you dont go for the lower side.
I have a 25bar in one with no weight on and that works not too bad, its a tsa but its a far better ride than our newer swb t7s

The roads are getting bad i agree.
More than likely the accumulator is knackered anyway on an older tractor. if you take it off and its full of oil its goosed. If you do really want to improve things fit a 2nd accumulator and mount them side by side on the rear axle. You'll need some pipe made up to reach and some fittings, its not expensive and it improves the ride no end, the 2 accumalators can be set at different pressures so helps more when your not carry much weight
