Don,t normally run the wrapper on the fendt but everything ok until the table slows when finishing wrapping the bale, it squirts a bit of oil out of the blow off valve, a very small amount but annoying, the wrapper does not do this on my other tractor, anybody any ideas. tia

Is it set up for open centre or closed centre? Are both Tractors the same hydraulic systems? Perhaps turn the flow down as maybe it can’t cope with the flow
Both tractors are pumping continuously when the wrapper is working (closed center) the tractor is only using 20% of it oil available, the flow rate is turned right down.

Is the wrapper set up for closed centre though, I thought as standard they came from the factory set to open centre and you had to change some part of the valve, it certainly did with my 991 I had before and the orbital I have now which I had to change a valve for load sensing.

Not sure about the orbital but never changed anything on the 991, I,m just wondering if I plumbed the return straight into the back end instead of through the spool block, that might help the flow.

Are you using the 3/4 free flow return pipe on the fendt or back through the spool. Rember it has a separate oil tank so don't put the return in the backend that's transmission oil only.

Yes I know, don't normally run it on the fendt but when I have I just run it through the spool block, there is a large return on their I have never used, I presume it's for heavy flow rate like a de stoner.

Yes it's a free flow return if you get a 3/4 female coupler and an adaptor down to a half inch coupler you could plug the wrapper in there and see if it stops the oil coming out.

I will try that, is there a adapter I could use so I don't have to change the 1/2 inch coupler, because on the other tractor there is no 3/4 female? I hope that makes sense.

Yes just get a 3/4 female coupler a 3/4 to 1/2 male male adapter with douty washers and a 1/2 female coupler. That's what I use for machinery that gets used on other tractors. Or machinery that only gets used on the fendt put a 3/4 female coupler on the hose on the machine.
