McCormick cx 85 PTO doesn't engage

I have a problem with the PTO
when I try to start it begin to turn but without any force
is there any suggestion to fix it?
is there someone who have some technical draws?

Hi, I’m not sure if you have tried this, but if it’s the same set up as a case cx etc... then the first, easy and cheapest thing to try would be to renew the hydraulic filter. Our case 4230 pto wouldn’t work the other day, filter change and it’s away again. Of course If the back end is totally different then ignore me!! I think it will be the same tho, as you sit in the cab the filter is in a round bowl type casing behind the left wheel as you face forwards.

Fairly certain the main difference is the engine.
There is another filter. If my memory is correct you undo a plug under cab steps and pull it out needs draining first.
Is @Gapples the expert on these? Apologies if that is the wrong person.

Sadly I'm no expert on CX tractors & never had anything to do with McCormick's.

Sorry I only like to give advice when I know what I'm talking about.
