very well built , one of the heaviest mowers on the market , the first of them needed mods , so I'd say the new models will be very good , after all Mchales don't make too many mistakes . The bed is a well known tried and tested bed with a very good reputation. So I wouldn't be afraid of them.

Looks quite a lot like a krone to me?

what make is the bed? are they not there own?

Hope the contour following has improved on the front ones then

I heard that McHale are gone back to the drawing board, and the main design man at McHale was spotted by a customer laying in under the back of the HiSpec mower at the ploughing match in september.

They are very heavy on the back of a tractor. I know of two that were returned because they made the tractor unstable. One was replaced by a Kuhn. The tractor was a 140 hp New Holland. Tried one on a 200hp tractor and found it could lighten the front of the tractor. Did a good job mowing but just too heavy

Watched a video on YouTube this evening, that was a new Holland first time I've seen a set of Wafer weight hung off the near side of a mower! Obviously to counterbalance the Weight of the bed
