Hello I’m just wondering is anyone running a v640 baler? Are you pleased with it? Also what is the main difference between the 640 and the 660 apart from the chopper. Many thanks.

They are the same except for the chopper. The 640 will have a bit more output than a 660 because the rotor is to feed the baler not chop. Early 640s had a rope out the window to move thd valve to drop the floor if you blocked it instead of a solenoid controlled through the box.

Optional second drive and cleaning augers on the V640 (standard on the V660) also a lot of V640’s wouldn’t have had the braked axle and some were on narrower tyres than the V660’s. Other than that, same baler, just the rotor slightly different as mentioned above.
