Does anyone have (or had) one of these? Any opinions. Tia
Sorry never even heard of one!
Take the weight off tractor but also means a much smaller lighter tractor can be used and the weight spread across 8 wheels rather than four (almost two when spreader fully loaded). Like the idea of trailed but huge price increase over mounted and thought the bogie might outlast two or three spreaders so long as kept in good condition.Ah right, looks expensive just to take the weight off the back of the tractor, or is there any other benefit to it?
Our tramlines are out at 88” centres which would help to make it stable maybe! Hopefully I will find someone that has one and be able to ask these sorts of questions.Looks like an outfit suitable for flat ground
Here is the phone number of the man who makes them , he will know more than anybody. He's a very sound guy. 00353879544523.Our tramlines are out at 88” centres which would help to make it stable maybe! Hopefully I will find someone that has one and be able to ask these sorts of questions.
HadSo buy a trailer spreader rather than a mounted one converted to a chassis?
@Dave W has a little vicon on quad tyres.
Yes they do and we are thinking of putting it on 600/55 26.5 Michelin’s which will be able to run about 8-10psiDo the axles steer to follow tractor rears ?
