CLAAS/Cherry HEADSTOCK SAFETY WARNING:
Suddenly found our headstock was disconnecting the locking pins during balecart on our Claas 6030 CP - VERY DANGEROUS .
The whole balegrab could have come off killing me or anyone nearby . I only noticed it because the pins "flashed" in the lights when stacking in the shed.
It seems to be the solenoid was playing up, which has now been replaced - but am alarmed that this can happen - it should be fail safe .
We have fitted a manual valve for extra safety.
Otherwise 6030 CP very stable & capable machine for our small mixed farm (except for useless air con).
I think thats more a dealer issue possibly not piping it right?
Cherry only supply headstock rams and sometimes a couple jumper pipes to the dealers its up to dealer to fit it right.
