Merlo P30.11 (1995) loosing drive after 30-45min

Hi!

New to this forum and seems almost the only place with some information for Merlo telehandlers

I got an old Merlo P30.11 that after 30-45min driving seems to loose drive almost complelty
When it's cold it goes great in 1st gear and okay in gear 2 ( a bit weak when going uphill)

But after maybe 30minutes it becomes very very slow (still moves) and if i let shut it down a few minutes it works good again , but problemes comes back
All hydralic functions works good

Feels like the oil in the hydrostatic gets to hot ?
Is it diffrent oil to the hydrostatic than the normal hydralic?

Next to the water radiator there a hydralic cooler, it that for the hydrostatic or hydralics (if they use diffrent oil)

Oil cooler is transmission oil. 2 separate systems. I would look at the engine speed sensor but it could also be a pump problem

I don't think the oil in the oil cooler is that warm. At least not when I put my hands on it. Looks like some kind of heat exchanger for the cooling part
