Yes as a rule the T is turbo and normal 40k but not necessarily on older models 27.7. I have a 26.6spt due in next week which will be for saleyes i think on the newer ranges its a easier to tell TF standing for Turbo Farmer.
as far as I can see the merlo website covers their newer ranges , hard to find archived stuff there.
I was realy looking at older machines :
Merlo Specs 26.6 or 28.7 EVT or EVS
and cant seem to find so much info about the different specs or model names.
Lots of other great info on here though about them which is really handy.
The EVT also finished in 2000 ish, the 26.6 where sold until 2005 ish so probably newer machine.yes i think on the newer ranges its a easier to tell TF standing for Turbo Farmer.

Yes I suppose but nearly all machines you find that size will be agri spec. Pick up hitch is more customer dependent so even agri spec may not have itThanks. Useful to know. Is the difference between construction and agri similar to JCB. Pick up hitch and more HP on agri spec?
The 26.6 is compact - 2m wide and 2m high whereas the 28.7 is a full sized handler.
At this time a 26.6 would lift 2.6 tonne to 6 meters and the 28.7 would lift 2.8 tonne to 7 meters.
Because Merlo's competitors were using the max lift weight close in ,and not the full height capacity ,Merlo's next generation used the close in max payload .
So the 26.6 became the 32.6 and the 28.7 I think became the 34.7.
Our 28.7 will out lift 40.7 hired in28.7s could lift in the region of 4 tonne!
