Does anyone know if the gear reduction starter motors are available for the deutz engines in the merlos? Was discussing them at the kitchen table last night and although I know they are available for tractors I haven't ever seen any advertised for forklifts.

Do you have a deutz part number for the starter? or a merlo model and engine number?

sure I can find something:) probably the same as Manitou as they are deutz now too.

I have found 2 options so far which I think could be the type used?

one is a standard 4kw and the other has a soft start relay on it for when its switched via the engine ECU.

Thanks for looking-it's a 40.7 year 2007. Don't know the exact deutz engine waiting on the misses getting that info.
