Metal detecting permissions in kent

Hi all.
Hope life is treating you well
Id like to introduce myself, my name is Karl, im 33 and a zoologist. I decided to take up a new hobby in December so i purchased a metal detector and have enjoyed my time using it with a friend of mine. As i am getting more into unearthing what's right beneath our feet from roman coins and musket balls to random bits of machinery or an old button. As a result i am looking for more land permissions, especially with current fields that I have access to being planted preventing my use of them until these crops are harvested.
I would like to maximise my access to as much ground all year round as possible as I've personally found that metal detecting has been beneficial for my health both physically and mentally, especially during the lockdown we have all had to face this yesr
As a responsible and respectful detectorist I abide by the code set out by the National Council for Metal Detecting of which I am a member ergo i have liability insurance to carry out my hobby. All finds are removed and not recklessly discarded as I myself class that as littering.
I am based in Broadstairs, Kent so the Thanet / Canterbury/ Dover area would be ideal for me. Any consideration or assistance in finding new areas to explore would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for permissions for myself and won't bring anyone else unless the land owner allows it. Also I do not nighthawk. No mean no to me and I respect that. Nor will I stipulate a 50/50 split on finds, that's a discussion you need to have with the landowner. Im not in it for money. I like the history and the discovery itself regardless of its worth.
Thankyou for your time guys.
If you are open to the idea the best way to reach me would be via PM or email at
[email protected]
Many thanks for your time and Regards
Karl
