There niceMassey Combine V8’s are they the same ?
know of some, possibly still available
Nice to hear them 1100s specially the 1155 v8 loads on you yube lovely soundI bought a generator with a V8 540 driving it, came from a local engineering company who were going broke, 3 years old and they used to run it sat mornings if anyone was working. And 40 years later it will likely have done less than 500 hours of hard work.
Sounds nice when working hard.

Some of the bigger MF TRACTORS HAD THE CAT ENGINE IN 1500 1800 NOT MANY OF THEM OVER HEREpersonally i think the perkins AT6 354 was a better engine
Oh i see oh that's not goodthe CAT engine in the 1505/1805 were throwaway engines,ie not made to be rebuilt
Brilliant love the 1155 iam on tractor addict people that actually own them sent loads of picture wish i had one there s a few round LINCOLNSHIRE but dont know if thee for saleThe Cat 3208 didn't have liners so if any bore damage was regarded as "throw away" although some were recovered by fitting a sleeve. Never had much problem with three MF1505 tractors except from 1 failed injector.
Tractors were good for the day with Aircon and good steering lock for power. They used to suffer from clutch / gearboxes issues.
MF1155 Perkins V8 was never any trouble
MF760 combines with the Perkins V8 540 used to die if overheated to much .
Perkins V8 640 in the MF8590 ran well only issue was a failed turbo and subsequent dropped nut that got embedded into a piston.
Would love a MF4880 with the Cummins 903 if there's one about ?
