Hi all,
Hope everyone's doing fine.
If all goes according to plan, we will be removing the rear axle trumpet housing from our beloved MF 2680 next weekend. Even though we have some repair manuals of our models, we don't seem to be able to find relevant information on how high to raise the cab before removing the trumpet housing.
I've checked some articles on tractorgearbox.com on a 3000 and 3100-series but all they're saying is "raise the cab slightly" or "raise the cab significantly". All information so far is being quite abstract, where ideally we'd like some concrete help.
Does anyone have any experience with this matter? Or do you think there's not a lot of difference when reading up on a 3000-series compared to our 2000? Would just raising the cab a bit until we visually think it's ok be sufficient?
Thanks for checking my question!
