Mf 3070 jumping out of gear

Hi all, the 3070 jumps out of gear on the A&B forward and reverse lever, it does it a lot worse in B forward than any others, I've replaced the linkage under the cab with genuine parts but still no joy, any ideas what it might be, worn selector fork?

the selector fork has two replaceable ends one of those will have broken off dont use it because you will be slowly f-cking the synchro and the two gears. because you are moving the synchro ring on a angle

They were also guilty of the nut coming slack holding the synchro on the shaft

We bought a 3075 from a reputable MF dealer. Started jumping out of gear from the minute we got it. MF dealer stood by it and when I went into the shop they had to replace the whole gearbox casing as a bearing had got loose in the casing. The repair cost more than than we had payed for the tractor, but they stood by it. However they were fairly cheesed off with the bloke they took it in from as it turned out he knew about the problem, but did not tell them when he traded it in.

Is that what the bit of wood in the cab is for?

No need to take cab off. Split tractor at bellhousing gearbox side cover off

as above then take speedshift unit out of front of gearbox a ring of 17m headed bolts there are 3 13m headed bolts leave them in they hold the speedshift together. the first selector fork that you come to is where the problem is
