MF 500 cab wiring

Hi,
'78 MF 550, I've lost power to the nsr indicator and pin 1 in the trailer socket. I've just had the heater box ceiling panel out and removed a disused radio antenna from the left side of the cab roof, so does the loom run up there or under the floor?
I had the dash out a couple of weeks ago to fit a buzzer to the indicators (I keep leaving them on...) and all was working well after that so I'm thinking I've disturbed something in the roof perhaps.
Thoughts?
Thanks.

Wires run lower
Your issue will be in the dash I'd say

Best method is really quite simple start at the light and follow the wires back then you see where wires are routed

Or start at the switch end and trace the from there
The indicators don't go in the roof on uk tractors

I started at the dash end, and while moving the brake light wires it suddenly started working, great - except I now can't stop it so I've no idea where the fault is. Never mind, I'm sure it will show up again as soon as it's most inconvenient.
Thanks.

And it did... halfway through doing an urgent trailer rewire.
Anyway, found the fault(s).
Behind the dash on the rhs of the cab firewall there is a connector that the loom feeds through. Obviously there had been a fault previously as a 'repair' had been made by doing away with the connector / plugs and making holes in the connector to run wires through the bulkhead, connected to the original loom at each end with four scotchlocks behind the dash, and discovered another four under the bonnet. At this point you can probably guess the rest but all I could do in the situation I was in was to replace all the green and manky scotchlocks with crimped bullet connectors and fresh link wire. It will need to be soldered and heatshrinked properly when I have the time and workshop available but at least I now know what the issue was.
