Grand, was hoping it would be as simple as thatPut her in neutral and jack cab up and just replace them
Meant to say, these are the rear mountingsJust don’t jack it up too high and smash the windscreen with the bonnet
That’s when you need to watch the windscreenMeant to say, these are the rear mountings
Speaking from experienceJust don’t jack it up too high and smash the windscreen with the bonnet
Why did u take them off before gettin the new 1sThanks for the advice DB990, I didn’t realise how close Bonnet was to windscreen. Took bonnet off to be on safe side, bushes now off, propped up with wood waiting for new ones to arrive View attachment 999119
I was thinking the same myself, I’ll take a look at the fronts tomoro. You probably need new front ones as well as or possibly more so than the back. There have been several modifications over the years. My 2007 T3 front have aways been prone to bottoming out hard at the front in certain conditions from new. Its as if the cab was hit by a great big sledge hammer when it happens. There is at least one later modification but it isn't that bad that I'm incentivised to do the job and it isn't getting worse.
Had time to take them off today, I’ll pop them on when I get them. Didn’t like using that tractor round here with the cab banging about like that anyway. Don’t worry daveydieselWhy did u take them off before gettin the new 1s
