MF 590 with loader... any good?

Hi. I have been following this great forum for quite a while, but now i am in need of some guidance.

I am looking at acquiring an older tractor with loader for light work. We have 7 acres, and it wont be doing anything too serious .

I have found a MF 590 that might be an option. It is in rather good condition. No multipower.
I have been trying to read up on threads regarding the 590, and I have a hard time determining what the general opinion is.
It seems like a lot of people view as being one big problem - but at other times it also seems mostly related to the 4wd and multipower versions (which this one is not)

So. Is it worth a look or should I back off?

Had ours since new, 1981 3 stick gearbox, French built import. 9k hours on the clock.
Had issues with the radiator neck breaking off, but the mod was a simple support plate.
Best check the front axle for wear if the loader has been on a while, any wear in the pin / bush will cause it to wonder across the road.
They are SLOW on the road, which is a blessing here as the local roads are shocking!
I love our old girl, cheap and simple to service, does what I need it to do.

We have one here on the farm it’s been here since new. Ours is a multi power version but not 4x4. It has never had an issue. Only work that’s been done is service work. Can be a slow starter in the winter months.

Front down shaft for wear if it has a loader on, if it is worn it will wander all over the road, 2 doors is good, rust looks as though that ain’t got any to be worried about, battery being loose, acid spilt on front pin, battery bounced in to rad, other than that , they run forever , spares are plentiful,
