How do i give this machine more diesel at the pump to get more power. Cheers
Our 6260 was flat as a fart. Everyone said it needed a turbo on it. A family friend turned up one day and took the pump top cover off and turned a screw. It went alot better after, with loads more staying power. It has done 4000 odd hours since. View attachment 752028
Yep we had a 6160 with the old lucas cav pump, very sharp tractor. But some of the 6200s with the delphi pump seem to be a bit lacklustreOur 3095 was no slouch & it was 110hp 6cyl non turbo, just the earlier version of the perkins thats in your 6260
Take the top cover off and adjust the screw, there is no need to take the pump offHow do i give this machine more diesel at the pump to get more power. Cheers
I don't think they have one6270-90 should be plenty sharp for what they are and easily out do a 390T.
Boost diaphragm may be at fault.
