Had similar problem on massey7726 last week, turnover but not start,
We found out there is a 3amp fuse down by the battery that gives earth protection can sometimes blow on a surge. Worth a look ,hope this helps

Hi there and thanks for help so far only getting back to the tractor this evening sadly no fuse there either and have cleaned up earth points how many lives go to the pump when the key is turned on am only getting one live fuses are ok have triple checked them

Early Tier2 models had the isolator on the Earth lead and later ones have it on the live. Or the other way about, I can't remember which. Neither can I now remember why they changed. On one or the other there is a little lead to the top of the cab, from the isolator, that has a simple single fuseholder very near the isolator. IIRC that could blow if 'playing' with the isolator, preventing the engine starting. It is a long time since I 'played' with these, so although the basics above are correct, the detail may not be.

Mine is on the earth side the isolator have checked and followed leads no fuse holder have found a small black box shape plastic piece about 50mm bt 30mm by 75mm long at the end of wires behind the engine and between the cab any ideas what that is many thanks to all so far

I've a tier 3. Remember hitting the isolater once with the tractor running.
I'd blown the fuel pump fuse. Worth checking.

does it have a fuse, looks like a stick of dynamite mounted vertically sort of to the left of the fuel pump?

If so, check that.
Ours had continutiy across it, but not enough to feed the fuel pump.
Would crank over fine, but no power getting to the pump.
ours is a 6460 but could well be the same??

There's a sensor on the crank. It doesn't pump fuel until its spinning at a certain speed.

The fuel pump has it's own ecu. Have you tried swapping it off orher one?

We went through all this on our t2 6480 in the end it was ecu on fuel pump.
