MF 6713s Dashboard

Hi has anyone ever fixed one of these before? It has a habit of accumulating dust and when rubbed clean with a rag it turns of everything except the engine. It all usually comes back to life but not lately, the left lcd had died.
Must be quite a bit of static around since it makes the hair on my hand stand upright and as I said attracts dust like the devil.
New console is £500 from MF, no warranty claim from them of course. Big safety issue with it turning off all the drives but they don't care.
Had a price to replace the lcd at about £200 which seems a bit steep.
Anyone had these things go before?

Sorry was a bit short with that comment no we haven’t was thinking of sending it to David king but can’t seem to be able to have it parked up too long, it’s odd because if you lean forward and look at it downwards at an angle you can just about make out the menus

If it’s still in warranty it will be covered.

She’s long passed warranty 10k hrs on it now
