So you have spools on tractor, does that mean you have 2 pumps @Henarar ? @MF-ANDY ? It could be the auxiliary pump is a bit weak and you are getting more pressure from the linkage pump.
The bucket really is supposed to fit between the loader arms, but they all go on the front

without seeing the pipe work behind the panels its impossible to tell if it has auxilliary pump or not. spools could be fed from either pump or both tho you wouldn't feed from linkage pump alone if an aux pump was fitted. all spools were dealer fit options on 500 series. if the loader still works with selector valve in linkage and quadrant not in constant pumping it must have an aux pump and combined flow. combined flow will give a faster lift and more lift as linkage pump works at a higher pressure

To me that looks like a bucket from a David Brown GD loader, see the bottom mounted lug in the middle of the bucket for the undershot crowd ram, and the angle of the plates that make up the original mounting lugs

Yer sure i can get some pics from underneath , i have removed the panels already , so can see the plumbing under the levers in cab . Will do them tomorrow . As to bucket had no idea what it came from but it had some mega engineering and welding off brackets to fit front of loader .must weigh 200 kg i think . But thanks for feedback so far

you are right about a soil/dirt bucket but you forget that mf made a grain bucket which was approx 6ft 6 in,which cleared enough for the tractor wheels,by the way i have one such bucket for sale !!

Just do as I said if it still lifts with selector in linkage and not constant pumping it must be combined
Is it not possible if it works with the selector valve in linkage that the spools are coupled to aux hyd pump only without check valves ? totally wrong but still possible. if that was the case the spool pressure would be 2000-2500 psi as opposed to 3000psi with the linkage pump or combined with the check in place

why would you not fit check valves? they were supplied in the kit

Yes as long as long as the spool valves were fitted with original kit and not botched up at a later date . Am probably too cynical having open something up and found something unexplainable.
I made like that in my 565, don't know if I were totally wrong or not. I think some 590 with auxiliary pump were also sold without the selector valve.

Well could not take pics of pipework today as broke phone . But i do have auxillary pump with kontak levers in cab and under the cab on back of pump is 2 blanked off outlets . I guess these are for when the loader is plumbed in properly . But i have read today that lever needs to be in ext 1 and constant pumping on quad .

If you have auxiliary pump then you don't need to use linkage pump, so no need to select external 1 or consent pumping, however if you do then the output of both pumps flows through spools. So loader will be much faster, and slightly more powerful
