Mid size turbine insurance

Anyone (like me) had trouble re insuring their mid size turbines 50-450kw. Same insurer for 5 years-now they've pulled out, apparently a lot have, and there seems to be a 'mates list' that are approved that the remaining quango are insuring. Tried to add it into the farm policy with Farmers & Mercantile but no can do. Surely someone will look at it, even if it means ditching F&M for another company?

We used to use Bruce Stephenson until they dropped them - NFU do ours now but in 2014 they weren't an option. (200kWh Vergnet)

IIRC it now costs about 3% of the output..

T H March might be worth a call. They don’t insure turbines at the moment but I believe they are considering it
