A quick reminder that Midlands Machinery Show is next Wednesday and Thursday (16th & 17th November) at Newark Showground.
We rate the show as it has a good mix of large and small exhibitors.

Is it worth a day out from Suffolk?

Difficult to say, how far is it from you, is there anything specific you want to see, how keen are you for a day out?

We’ve been the last couple of times from the Welsh border , a 3 hour journey possibly more depending on traffic. Bought a couple of smallish pieces of machinery last year.

That said, there were less trade stands there last year, it could be comprehensively covered in less than a day, a quick walk around a couple of hours but the plus point of it not being too big/busy was firms were willing to give their time to talk whilst not being inundated with potential customers.
I did mention it being quiet when one of the firms dropped their product off here a couple of months later and they said it had been a very good show for business for them

I’ve been in England for the last two. I’m not sure it’s worth traveling hundreds of miles for but if you are within an hour or so it’s worth visiting. It’s nicer than Lamma but an outside show in November isn’t for the faint hearted.
