Migrant fact manipulation

I suppose they all go to the hole in the wall at the local Carrefor to draw cash to pay the smugglers?
Is that how it works?

Headline in todays The Times.

The really relevant comment in the body of the article is that already half a million have left Afghanistan. But they are heading west - to the Iranian border and not east to Pakistan - as that is the route to Europe. I can see Farage is going to implode (or do mean explode) at some stage

After today's tragic news I wonder if the French will start to take the role of stopping migrants launching boats seriously or will they continue to facilitate people risking life.
Perhaps the eu should put a bit more pressure on the french. The eu did kick up a bit about the Belarus/Poland border, haven't heard them say much about this border.

So how do you expect them to stop it, it's not their problem Patel needs to get her act together and start sending some of them back home. Only then will the message will get though that it's a waste of time, lives and money.

The french have blood on their hands!
Are you trying to wind us up shitespreader?
We have left wing human rights lawyers putting a stop on the our government being able to sort out the illegal migrant crisis!(which you love I know) The activist lawyers will be got rid of eventually.
We have paid the french around 200 million pounds to help prevent illegal migrants crossing the channel!!!
The smugglers are on your soil, the people selling the boats are on your soil, the crimes are committed on your soil with your so called police officers watching!
We have offered sending our police and border force over but your so called leader has said no?

How very dare you Muck Spreader!!!

There is a very simple solution to this, if the French agreed to receive back any migrants arriving here by the next ferry back no migrant is going to pay a smuggler three grand for a pointless round trip so will stop attempting crossings immediately ! God politicians are so stupid both sides of the channel.

BrainV you have hit the nail on the head, this is perhaps the best option in order to stop people risking their lives making the crossing to the UK. Its a simple solution and I cannot see any downside to it but I think there is no way the French would agree to it.

It’s the only way the French will ever stop a never ending flow of migrants entering France in the often vain hope of using it as a temporary home until they cross the channel, they would gain as much as the UK!

D Day landing craft should be deployed to pick up migrants in the channel to take them straight back and drop them on the beach.

That ship sailed when the UK left the EU. Up until then the UK could send migrants back if they where caught, but now the migrants know they only have to enter UK territorial waters and they are home and dry and can't be sent back to France.

So much tosh on the radio this morning of poor persecuted migrants fleeing for their lives being parroted from people terrified to tell it as it really is, 95% of these people are males under the age of 28, they are economic migrants in the vast majority of cases nothing else, they are not middle aged families fleeing for their lives, they are the future life blood of their own countries who have simply decided to move on to a better life while the opportunity is there.
As they are paying smugglers on average three grand each to cross the channel they are not poor penniless wretches, it's time to put a stop to this before countries start tearing themselves apart through "racism" when all the European countries residents get thoroughly sick of this mass migration!

Always strange they all want to come to the west with a lifestyle many don't want to integrate with.
Instead of going go local country's with similar religion/ beliefs.
