Milk bar calf feeders

Not sure how popular these are in the Uk. We are looking to update our trailer feeders for feeding milk to calves. We currently have stallion feeders that have seen better days. The other option seems to be milk bar.

Anyone have much experience with milk bar? I’ve never even seen one.

The feeders have a hard life here and I wonder if the milk bar is more robust. We have 50 and 60 teat 750 liter models that we like to hook together. They get a lot of miles on the road causing tank and ring cracks also frames fall apart.

Alternatively has anyone made their own?

Definitely wouldn’t consider the milk bar teat. I have seen those. Most people must feed really close to the barn with the way these trailed feeders are built.

If you're handy, how hard is it to build your own.
Googled own builds and it threw up this one that happens to be on the second page of all things dairy😅.
