Silicone or rubber dairy milk liners? Which is best? I think silicone will last longer, but more expensive?
@Bald Rick , what do you say?!We change the rubber every 6mths
Sure rt require reciepts for new milk liners each year so how does the 5 years work?I know of a farm that's on it's 5th season with silicone liners and they're still as good as new.
I use square liners (so I'm restricted to rubber), which I replace every year (although if I follow the instructions, they should be replaced every 4.5 months or so).

Thinking silicone might be the best way to go then. Any recommendations for brands/companies?Rubber usually 2500 milkings or 6mths is the recommendation. (Delaval Evanza 5000 milkings).
Silicone usually 2x that of rubber.
Some silicone liners suffer from fat migration through the liner and need to be removed and cleaned.
