Can't remember, ask you Catchment sensitive farming person.

It was them that told me

Edit, thats water from scraped yards, run off from muck heaps can not be spread
Must be different in England we’re allowed to spread parlour washings anytime. Hopefully use my Pulse Jet.
We have several yrs of milklink before we weren’t wanted anymore.
just making the point that with every yr that passes arla farmers should get further and further ahead of us lowly peasants.
Funnily enough in the milk price league table in FW, Barbers were top.

I'd be surprised if he a tenant under the pressures of land agents taking years to decide decisions on future investment or tenancy lengths etc.

We went to great expense 6 years ago working with landlord to install new lagoon. Designed especially for us with 70 more cows than we are currently running, the bumming thing was empty late September, we have about 14 days left of storage, was surposed to be 6 months worth, but we have had insane rain🫣
l/lords will not spend any money, whatsoever, on the farm.

we have 'agreements' to what we spend, and allowances made, to pay us, for the improvements we have made. Thankfully they have accepted improvements done, but for obvious reasons, no more.

The last several years, they have 'denied' permission, in writing, so buggered there.
As family all involved, it's a bloody good mess.

we have built new cattle housing, the slurry storage, cow tracks etc, which all amounts to a tidy sum, so we did modernise, the origional buildings, are 50/60 yrs old, it's time for another upgrade. Done it once, cannot do it again.

You seem to have an awful lot of trouble with your farm/landlord.
Perhaps it's time for your son to move on and try somewhere else? It might be better than trying to farm with his hands tied behind his back by a poor landlord.
