To be honest, if you're milking jerseys is normally best not to see exactly what they're giving especially if you're used to Holstein yields. You sometimes just have to remind yourself that they're cheap to keep and they do more favours to the bank account than they do the bulk tank.

Yes but if you adjust for milk solids, it's often the equivalent of 10k Holstein or better so all is not lost
