Going down east devon for a wedding tomorrow, interesting to see how much dryer you guy have it ,most stuff is fair brown unless you have a rushy farm.
Depending on where In East Devon towards Honiton hills it's a bit greener .But near to Exeter bowl it's very dry now

I wonder in how many other industries a supplier/manufacturer would let the customer look at their accounts and costs to decide how much (or how little) they pay for goods?
A lot of the producers have had a good milk price which has allowed for investment for 10 years +
I am surprised how quick they forget that, even now they are still getting above cost production including their time etc.

Why not? (genuine question).
a good price, is only good, at that time, trade can go up, or down, so price should go up or down. Anyone thinking tesco's would pay the same price, for a 'changing' price, because they have had it at a good price, must be nuts. Hardnosed barstewards, is probably a good description of them.

The price was good for 7 years and a moderate premium for 7 years. Given the last 7 years and seeing how the COP models do not track the real COP, ie there has been a great big fudge factor involved.
Indeed the COP prices have been an artificial ceiling to hold dairies standard prices down, only recently blown away by Arla’s price and their opening of the recruitment hotline.
