so how does it work when a farm fails but the tanker passes ? Sulotion to pollution is dilution
I’ve never had a fail I’m just asking how it all works i didn’t even know it was such a big thing, would they dump a trunker full of milk?
God help us. No wonder they are cracking down on us. If your farm fails, your farm fails and your dairy will no doubt apply penalties, and you may get a visit from Environmental Health.

By this I mean that it happens as often as people say, very much in the real world hereAnd meanwhile back in the real world.....
In theory the processor would have to dump by law? Same as we would if cow failed but bulk tank passesso how does it work when a farm fails but the tanker passes ? Sulotion to pollution is dilution
It’s more than thatI think its a case of tightening up for the repeat offenders.
I think you’re a informer or something the way you’re going onTest needs to be way more sensitive to catch the real offenders.
That would come down to the person having done the course updating your protocols and then communicating them to the milking staff.
In your situation one would hope there already pretty good considering the amount of people involved in the operation.
Well seeing as there isn't currently a written down protocol for anything and training is, how shall I put it, a bit hit and miss it can only be a good thing if it concentrates their minds into writing and communicating protocols. The person(s) responsible for protocols would be the attendees in your example.
I can see that going down well with one or 2 of the old timers who think they know it all and think they run the spot I'd relish some training like that though, I'd feel more valued as an employee for a start.certainly for our dairy, all milking staff and anyone who administers medicines (not just antibiotics) to the herd even if they don't milk. Often the owner is the only one who hardly every milks....the more staff who milk the more scope there is for an antibiotic fail and the need for rigid protocols. New staff members will have to be trained within I think it was 6 months of starting with a herd.

Yes they wouldI’ve never had a fail I’m just asking how it all works i didn’t even know it was such a big thing, would they dump a trunker full of milk?
Yes they still have failures, but 4x less. The USA has 20x less failures. We where told few farms can stick 2 failures in the states, the fines are too big they fold.Do the countries that have vet only administered antibiotics have a clean sheet regarding failures? Just wondering.
