Milwaukee grease gun

Anyone know what the thread on the end of the hose is on the Milwaukee?

I'd like to put a locking. G coupler on mine, but not about to spend £20 on an m10 threaded one to discover the Milwaukee end is unf! (or even something weird like American national pipe )

its a M10x1 fine thread.

As @DrDunc says it leaves a hand free to locate the coupler.
Only downside with electric really I found was that you were never completely sure it was pumping grease.
I am now just using a Fuchs as the benefit of never having air locks or having to prat about reloading messy, conventional grease cartridges easily out weigh the benefits of electric.
If any company actually makes a battery gun using fuch cartridges then they are on to a winner!

Apparently Fuchs do a pneumatic version, not (yet) a battery gun unfortunately  I'll stick with the trusty two-handed gun for now.

I wouldn't go pneumatic again. I have a pneumatic gun free to good home if anyone wants one!
I would go with the Milwaukee but it's back to crappy cartridges bit I don't like!
Well that's the second crappy cartridge I've put through my "santa" Milwaukee. There's no need to fear airlocks or difficult swaps :D

Have you got the g coupler hooked up to the Milwaukee grease gun yet @DrDunc?
Aye (y) totally forgot about updating though:oops: apologies.

The Milwaukee thread is indeed 1/8NPT, so the £3 brass adaptor off eBay connected the g coupler perfectly.

It's had approximately ten cartridges of blue JCB stuff through it already (the really thick stuff).

The only issue I've had with the g coupler was greasing the muck spreader when it was minus ten °C. The nipples are remote from the bearings via fairly long plastic tubing. In the cold, the grease initially leaked out the jaws of the coupler. However all that was necessary was to hold it square against the nipple end, much like you always need to do with a conventional coupler.

The convenience and speed of the G coupler is very highly recommended, connected to the cordless gun, it's an absolute joy to grease machinery.

Yes indeed. Good find.(y)
I would have one of those but I bought a Milwaukee using conventional cartridges and really can't fault it. Never air locks, battery lasts forever and I have now got other milwaukee tools sharing the batteries.
Also the milwaukee is designed to be placed on a surface and then the hose is long enough to reach the nipple.
Wonderful tool.
