Mixed Land Use Challenge

Land is under unprecedented pressure in the UK and globally, to make space for carbon sequestration, biodiversity, food and energy production, and housing. One of the solutions to these issues is to stack land uses by finding synergies that mitigate this resource competition. We are looking for companies developing innovative products and services that support nature friendly, multifunctional land use.

These could include (but are not limited to) products and services that enable:

• Agroforestry
• Regenerative and productive housing development
• Intercropping food and non-food crops
• Co-producing food and renewables

simple answer is livestock will give you everything you have asked for in one simple tried and tested system. Assuming the regenerative housing is livestock housing. (ie. a field! )
Other than that could you please explain what "regenerative and productive housing development" is please.

Prize money for what you consider to be the best idea, given to a company that is already making money? What a bizarre thing, when you don’t even understand what the issues are.

What about some prize money for someone/company that can expose the utter absurdities of the carbon accounting rules? That would be a start of something actually useful.

Oh, and you do realise that coproducing food and renewables was effectively banned a while ago? Have you tried intercropping? How did you get on?
